Emerson is the Dickenson Associate Professor of Religion and Program Director for the Master of Arts at Oklahoma Baptist University. He is the author of several forthcoming books on such topics as the Trinity and theological method, the descent of Christ to hell, and Baptists' understanding of the Great Tradition.
